Overhead line hardware is the electric power fittings for transmission line, distribution lines, substation and pole line. On a transmission line, except the power tower, conductor and insulator,electric equipment, all left can be called electric power fittings or overhead hardware.
Without overhead line hardware for transmission lines, the conductor can’t be fixed, normally insulator or high voltage insulator string is connected with many link electric power fittings and then suspend on the wood crossarm or steel crossarm of the towers or poles.
